Low Pin Count/ Low Volume
Low Pin Count and Low Volume Test Fixtures do not need the same mechanical life as a fixture with a high cycle count, so the type of mechanical components required are much simpler. This type of test fixture offers an affordable way to improve connection between the UUT and your test system, they are ideal for a test capacity of 500 to 1000 units per month.

Vertical Acting Clamp Test Fixture
The Vertical Acting Clamp ensures the last 15mm of movement of the clamp is directly down onto the UUT rather than the typical radial movement of a hinged clamp. Our Vertical Acting Clamp is simple to operate, and we can construct it with a range of options, including but not limited to, balancing probes and spring-loaded conical guide pins. These are used to keep a PCB level during testing where there is an uneven distribution of test probes. Typically, the PCB is placed onto tooling pins which guide it, and it then rests on the spring probes. The clamp swings over, moving vertically down for the last 15mm of travel to clamp the PCB in position as well as pushing the PCB test points onto the probes.

Vertically Guided Test Fixture
This range of mechanical presses is designed to provide precise contact in research, development and production environments. This Vertically Guided Test Fixture is manufactured using durable aluminium, precision bearings and hardened steel. A benefit of this mechanical press is that it offers the versatility to change out fixture plates enabling the customer to test multiple products on the same fixture mechanism, therefore, making it a cost-effective solution. The Vertically Guided Test Fixture can be used to standardise the test connection set up.
